This work was produced in collaboration with Tom Sherman and Brian Molyneaux. It was installed in the Toronto Public Library during the 10th International Sculpture Conference, held in that city in 1978. Five photographic panels were installed on the library floor at the base of an atrium opening to the floors above. The panels contained photographs of petroglyphs by Mr. Molyneaux and photographs from slides created by encapsulating spider skeletons produced by me. In the corner of each photographic panel was a Boolean algebraic term. A text produced by Mr. Sherman and available in to the public in tabloid newspaper format unified and completed the piece. |
